Travelling to the University of Surrey from London options
Hi all!
I am trying to find a budget option to travel from Clapham Junction or Waterloo to Guildford.
Does anyone happen to know student chats, where I can find people in the same situation, so that we can share fuel costs? Or anything of that kind?

Are you planning on driving to Clapham Junction/Waterloo? We have direct trains going from Guildford to Waterloo, taking just 35 minutes.
If you plan to travel regularly, it's worth exploring railcard options. These can offer 1/3 off all your fares. I would also take advantage of off-peak and super off-peak fares as well. Some banks even provide railcards for free to students!
It's worth asking around if anyone is in a similar situation. Unfortunately, we don't have an official group chat or channel for this purpose. You can look at Liftshare, a network that links drivers/passengers so they can share their journeys. Find more information on the university website here.
