Creative Computing?

Hello

Has anyone completed or currently on a creative computing course?

Is there any web design elements on the course? As I am looking to go into UX Design

Thanks

Go to some Uni Open Days, listen to the subject/course presentation and find out.

Hi there @PandaBooper , you may also be interested in considering Digital Media Technologies at Kingston University. In addition to UX design, the course covers a range of topics like computer graphics, programming, motion graphics, visual effects and emerging technologies such as AI. I highly suggest going to Open Days to speak to respective tutors and current students to gain a better insight into what each course is about! Hope this helps 🙂

I’m about to take a creative computing course sometime in September !! :3

From what I heard on my open day, you’ll be learning css, html and Java at some stage in the course. Got my timetable and it has css workshop on it

(Incase you don’t know, the three languages I’ve stated will be a part of web design, Java for interactivity and css for “styling” your website)

Cool to know someone else is taking this course too, good luck to us~

i'm just about to start yr 13, and i'm planning on applying to creative computing but i'm just not sure if it's 'serious' enough, and if i'll find it hard to find a job after, but the course itself sounds a lot more fun than computer science but i wouldn't mind doing the maths part it's just the technicality of it and ai i'm hesitant on.
