Welcome to the Opening Ceremony thread for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As we all know, the Olympics are happening this year once again and this time they will be hosted in Paris.

This thread will be used to mark the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics which will be taking place this Friday (26/07/2024).

In Paris,Yes.
Nice to see Sir Chris Hoy on BBC coverage.
He has cancer so great to see him.
Chris Hoy is my favourite of the Athletes who help with BBC coverage.
