At home online a level

Hi
Can anyone help me.
I would like to study an a level at home within a year and was wondering if anyone had any experience with any distance learning courses such as Oxbridge home, ICS
Learn, National extension college (thinking more about this one as they have a fast track course).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

open study collage does fast track

Cloud learn is good for visual learning as they provide videos and a Modern touch to it like their chat feature instead of email (open study collage does email)

What are you planning to study for A-level?
And what do u want to do for uni?

Hi Loren Ship,
Have you actually studied an A levels course with the the mentioned 2 providers as I am having trouble deciding. I've seen that the Open study college has a lot of negative reviews especially about the course work and content.

Personally experience:
I have been studying a level math and English with ICS Learn for a year now and I wouldn’t change a thing! You get assigned a personal tutor for each subject and their content is so condensed you don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything (extra content if you buy textbook), they have resource guides, webinars, links, and our in house maths teacher is AMAZING. She’s just a phone call or email away and is always on top of her maths game. They have weekly class sessions which are recorded for those who miss it and assessments you need to complete before you end the course.
A level study has been quite good with them, no complaints yet and amazing student services.
Open study college on the other hand aren’t that great with course material and assessments and despite the fact that you have a tutor assigned to you, studying with them isn’t very enthusiastic. Their homepage is empty and has nothing but you’re course and to be honest, if I could I wouldn’t study with them
Best advice? Study with ICS Learn, you won’t regret it

Hi
I studied French with Oxbridge Home learning and fastracked it for a year.

I would say that aside from the course programme you have access to on their website, you are very much independently working from there on out, unless you engage with your personal tutor. I did regularly, so that helped quite a bit. As for the course content, given that it was a language I expected it to be a bit sparse and in truth it was. For the coursework element however I expected more communication but no.
All in all, it’s a decent programme if you prefer working independently otherwise you’ll have to imitate any conversations with personal tutors yourself.

Also if you choose them, if you book over the phone you get a 10% discount.
