Your guide to Clearing

With A-level results day just around the corner, we want to make sure you’re fully prepared and help you to get answers to any questions you might have about the process.

What is clearing? :curious:
Clearing is an opportunity for you to find available places on courses at universities after the UCAS deadline has passed.

If you don’t get the results you need to go to your firm choice university, have changed your mind about where you want to study, or haven’t applied to university yet, you can apply through clearing to start a course this September.

What happens on a clearing call? :call2:
During the call, we'll have a chat about your qualifications and why you're passionate about the course. Sometimes, depending on the course and other factors, we might request additional documents or even invite you for an interview.

Before you speak to us, make sure you have your results to hand, including your GCSEs, as well as your UCAS ID number.

Still waiting for your A-level results? :dontknow:
You can start your application with your predicted grades by phoning or completing our online application form. If you’re not ready to apply yet, ask us any questions you have about the clearing process so that on 15 August you have all the information you need to be able to give us a call. We’d recommend that you save our clearing number in your phone - even if you don’t end up needing it.

Already have your results? :yy:
You can apply now - give us a call on 0330 024 6390 or apply using our online application form.

We hope you find the perfect course for you - good luck! :crossedf:
