Hello Becky,

Hope you're doing well 😇

I will be happy if you put me in contact with a current student on the same course. Also I didn't find in your website a good VIRTUAL TOUR to explore your facilities! like other universities especially department of Computer Science.

I want to know also about the researches quality, placements and career opportunities during and after the graduation for an international student in Bradford.

additionally, I wanna ask you about the scholarships, can you explain more! and the important thing "How to pay the first deposit ?" I'm struggling with that. (please Advice !!)

Finally, I'm an ambitious student with diverse experiences and sporting achievements. Does Bradford have facilities and clubs for sports, especially Athletics sprinting and football.

Thank you for your explaining. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,
Yaseen

Hey again @ya1seen how are you?

The Programme Leader for the course is on annual leave currently, but is returning next week so I will try provide some additional info for you then. In the meantime, Paul, the Associate Professor of Computer Science, has given me some information in regards to your questions.

Regarding rankings there are a wide variety of rankings (all with different numbers) that can be found online, but Computer Science has recently been ranked 46th in the UK out of 111 providers in this area. Our research covers a range of topics such as Computer Visions, Applied AI and Machine Learning, Ethical and Responsible AI, Cybersecurity and much more, with some recent news stories on our website detailing our successes in this area.

In terms of careers, the subject provides great flexibility for successful graduates with the aim being that you can work in a huge variety of fields, essentially anywhere that works with data in non-trivial volumes and that would benefit from data processing, programming, visualisation and predictive modelling to name a few examples.

Thank you

Becky
