a level geography

i hate geography so much like i literally dread every single lesson i often forget i even take it and i am filled with sadness and despair when i remember i do, and i am getting straight Cs because of my pure loathing of geography
how do i make it enjoyable for myself and get my grades up does anyone have any recs / experience w this ?

Geography can be stale, but it's very rewarding and knowledge-application is a bit less scary compared to an A-Level like Biology, Geology, or Computer Science.

TOP TIPS for making it easier.

1.

Don't cram the night before. Do tiny bits of revision every day, maybe one unit a day and see where you're struggling. Then, work on those bits. Case studies need flashcards.

2.

Do something you'd find interesting for your coursework, rather than something that might "get more marks". No point doing coasts if it has more quantitative data, but you hate it so much you procrastinate and take minimal measurements.

3.

Read ahead, even if it's just skimming the textbook.

4.

Get attendance up.

5.

Find documentaries and videos related to your case studies and watch those. Andrew Marr is quite good. It's easier to digest content that way and some of the figures they give could be used in case study answers.
