Name change
I have previously had a loan with student finance england for my undergraduate studies, but I'm going on to study a PhD. Since finishing my undergrad my legal name has changed and I would need to apply for post grad loans in my new name as this matches the University records. Does anyone know if there is an email to contact SFE to provide them with documents of the change or if would I be able to write this in my application?

Hi there, You would apply via your existing account and then provide evidence of your name change via post (clear photocopy). We would then update your name details with the evidence provided. Thanks, Angela

Hi Will. Sorry there is not a way to change this by email or online. If you are applying for a PhD course, you would need to post in a copy of your birth certificate/marriage certificate/change of name deed along with a covering letter for this to be updated. Thanks, David
