Currently working on research proposal for MPhil in Sociology

Hi everyone! I was just meaning to ask that, I've been working on my application for an MPhil, and I'm totally lost on how to format the research proposal... so far, this is how I've structured it:
Introduction
Literature Review
References/Bibliography.

Is there anything I'm missing, or I should keep in mind? if someone has any samples or tips also, that would be great. Thank you!

You don't really need either of those in any depth. You need to explain why it's an interesting question, eg there's a gap in the literature, or it's an interesting compare and contrast, explain the methodology and why it's appropriate, describe the resources you will need/use, suggest a few risks and how you might overcome them and sketch out a timeline. It's an MPhil dissertation proposal, which is really just a large essay plan.
