URGENT! Help with clearing at University of Birmingham

URGENT! I received an email offer from the University of Birmingham for Law with Business through Clearing. The email instructed me to confirm the offer by 23rd July (today) and update my UCAS application, both of which I completed yesterday. However, I haven't received a response from Birmingham yet, and they don’t have a dedicated contact number for Clearing. Should I contact anyone specific, or should I be worried? I am extremely anxious as I really want this offer to be accepted soon (it was an unconditional offer).
You can call the general admissions number, but it's been less than 1 day so there's no cause for alarm yet.

Give them 2-3 days to process your application.

Okay, thank you! they just replied with

'Dear Applicant, The departments are working through a backlog of applications. Please be patient. Best, International Clearing Team'

I’m a bit anxious because I’ve sent three emails since July 19th. I’m concerned that my emails won’t affect the outcome of my application. I declined my place at another university and didn't use any other clearing offers, so I’m really hoping to get a positive update from Birmingham. I’m just nervous about the situation.

Thank you for your help!

No problem. So long as they verify all the info you told them on the call, (or via an enquiry form), clearing applications are usually quite straightforward. It just takes them time to get through them all.

Hopefully you have an update soon
