I want to study A Level psychology, english literature and religious studies, and I was wondering if this is a good subject combo and what career paths I could go down in as I have no clue currently.

I am not sure about good combo but I know they’re decent subjects, I did A level psychology and I’d say if you end up doing that you can go on to do psychology at uni, psychology is a fairly nice subject and easy if you go over notes a lot if not you’ll fall behind. You can go on to do psychology and counselling at uni then maybe go on from there to do counselling. English literature can help make your ucas application stand out if you consider applying for Law, unis love it when you’ve done English at college. Not so sure about religious studies tho.

Thanks for the info, I’m also unsure about religious studies… I just want a third subject which is essay based, would philosophy be better would you think? I’m Honestly clueless lol

I am not sure about philosophy as they didn’t do it at my previous sixth form but that sounds interestingggg but not sure what you can do with it. Would you not be interested in history? Sociology is always a good option too although I’ve heard it is really content heavy, but if you keep up with the work you’ll be fine. I’d also say you could do law maybe? I did law, it is an essay based subject and it’s quite fun if you get the right teacher. I also did criminology which is also essay based subject. Maybe look into that as well. But I’d recommend 100% go with English literature or language as I said before I’ve heard unis lovee it when you’ve done English at sixth form/ collage. If I could go back I would do it.

In my opinion, Religious Studies and Philosophy are [relatively] similar; I think they're both interesting and will be great for essay. Psychology, English Literature, and Religious Studies / Philosophy is a really cool combination, and I think it could open up a range of options.
