my question is “to what extent has sense of place in place X changed due to endogenous and exogenous factors?

Hey hmmb06! Great NEA question! For primary data, surveys and interviews would be good choices. Surveys could reach a wider audience, while interviews allow deeper dives into people's sense of place. Good luck!

Hey, other primary data that you could use might be counting the amount of glocalisation like however big business there are in comparison to small home grown business. Comparing the town before any regeneration or housing using primary photos you have taken from the area and comparing them to secondary photos on the internet.

Yes! I second this. I did this for my project and then drew maps in my data analysis to compare the two areas. You get crazy marks for hand drawn data presentation along with comparing two areas over space and time!!

So sorry for the late reply, but I did a crime rate map and showed the frequency of crime to investigate the social areas over the two areas I contrasted. I used the local police website. So I did the number of crimes that had taken place over the month, and would put a colour to indicate the frequency. Green being a low crime rate and red being a high crime rate!
