Engineering or Medicine

Basically, im confused
I dont know what career to advance in im confused between engineering and medicine. My a levels are flexible (ive chosen maths chem and physics) and if i dont go into engineering i can still go into medicine as i have 2 sciences. However im not sure as im equally interested in bith and theyre as equally competitive in terms of unis. However im scared that if i end uo going for med i wont have bio which is required in most unis. Can someone help?
These careers are very different.

Whilst in either industry you can do a lot to benefit society, id say most engineering roles are very much macro picture with a hard focus on analysis & harnessing physics to improve/develop technological solutions (wether mechanical/structural/electrical/chemical...). The work is primarily in done in modern industrial offices and spending a lot of time in offices spaces (either physical or digital).

Medicine typically (although there is a big clinical research industry) is really about working with people & specific cases to support their health needs and I assume is largely spent in clinical environments.

Id focus on what are you passionate about as well as what type of environment & atmosphere you want to work in for several decades of your life.
