Hi all
Sorry i realise this sounds very much like an add - not sure if there is another section for it?
I currently work at the uk's largest festivals and events, installing the IT infrstructure that runs everything from CCTV to card machines to ticket scanning to WiFi on the stages and dressing rooms. We literally cover the entire site for every single connected device. If you have been to a festival in the UK there is a good chance you have used our system in some way shape of form and just don't know it!
Working in this industry it great, its very social, you get to travel around a lot, you get to see the show and also how the backend of festivals and events work.
I am looking for people who are interested in this type of thing for the 2025 season. (Age 18 minimum).
The work would involve
Installing: cat5 cabling, cctv cameras, wifi points, voip phones on festival sites
Loading / Unloading equipment as it arrives on site
Configuring equipment such as wifi access points
Using a cherry picker if you have an IPAF - if not then no worries
Essential
Basic IT knowledge
Good to have but not essential
IT Knowledge - WiFi / CCTV / Networks
Driving License
Can terminate cat5 cables
IPAF
Basic training will be provided and any task you are asked to do it will be with someone who has experience.

Any hotels or Airbnb provided are always 3 stars or above, on site accomodation is a bunkabin.
If you have a campervan and would wish to bring it then this can usually be catered for.
Food is provided and paid for with on site catering when available - when not a food allowance of £20 per day is paid
Travel / Mileage is paid for
Pay is on a day rate and will be paid within 30 days of invoice. We expect any contractors to invoice us and to make clear we are not a PAYE employer.
Most jobs are for 1 to 4 weeks - this involves working up and down the country, every day (including weekends), staying away while working, working outside a lot, being on your feet a lot. You also need to be able to carry tools and equipment.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in then please message me.
