Loughborough uni accommodation

I’ve just found out when my slot is to get accommodation. Wondering if anyone knew when the earliest slot is? Mine is 10am on Friday 16th

hey i have the same slot but on the original email it says they allocate on either the 15th or 16th so I’m assuming there’s earlier slots than ours on the 15th

Hey, I'm also going to Lough for 24 entry, but I took a gap year, so I had my accommodation sorted in June! So that's when the earliest slot was lol... However there wasn't many options for me! The website is pretty easy to navigate but you have limited time on it! And i'm near 100% certain they try ensure everyone has the same amount of options... For me i went with Holt, So for say each group would have 30 rooms available in Holt, etc... to ensure if your last like you've both said.. your not disadvantaged! Hope this helps :smile:

I've seen some people say on here that at Lboro they requested 'self-catering ensuite' and got 'catered shared' bathroom. Do you actually get to pick your preferred hall or is it a 'category' as above?

All the available Halls are shown (every time slot is given an even share of every hall and room type) and then you click in to each hall and it shows the rooms available. you pick there and then, its not like a 'ballot'. There is a really useful video with a walk through on the accommodation portal! (I took a gap year so did my accom in June)

Uh I can’t remember .. but there is a cap.

I wanna say either 5-10m / 10-15m ….

It only takes 5m to do but you gotta know what you want first

Else you won’t be able to have time to think

I really wanted a studio in will mo

but went for ensuite in holt as there was no option for studios in will mo

Just have a list of a feww rooms you’d like in order of preference and ur good
