I Betrayed My Country

I am sorry that I have to write this, but I am guilty of something unthinkable. Despite being a patriotic person, sometimes I can't stand up for the status quo. Despite being British, I have to say something that may cause great outrage, but I believe coming clean is the right thing to do.

I prefer Milka over Cadbury chocolate.

Once again, I am deeply sorry.

I know, but Cadbury's is always seen as the British one whereas Milka is the Swiss one. Over the past few years the Cadbury recipe has got worse, and to me Milka is what Cadbury chocolate should taste like. You can't beat a Creme Egg though.

With that said, the Cadbury recipe changes are nowhere near as bad as what happened to the Chocolate Orange. It went from being lovely to almost inedible for me.

I completely forgot about Kinder. I really love the milk chocolate bars, but I'd love a larger one, perhaps the size of a Cadbury/Galaxy/Milka bar. I haven't tried the Bueno bites (I think that's what they're called), but I don't think they make the white chocolate version in that form.

This is criminal. Galaxy and Kinder are both kings of chocolate!

If you like the Kinder sticks, Aldi do a knock off version (Dairyfine mini delights which are absolutely delish). Pretty sure they have more chocolate sticks in the pack then Kinder :colondollar:

been saying for years Kinder chocolate should totally release a big chocolate bar called 'Erwachsene' (adult)

I'm not a citizen of Italy, but if I was I would have some opinions on pineapple pizza.

I've never had it in real life, and I do not plan to.

They are not really British anymore.

It's only a betrayal of this nation if chocolate preferences stoop to involving any appreciation for Hershey's. :eek3:

Most Cadbury branded chocolate tastes awful since Kraft Foods took it over, changed most of the recipes and distribution routes then dumped the ruins of Cadbury into the Mondelēz International spin off.
Never mind their chocolate and savoury snacks shrinkflation that has so antagonised many french shopkeepers.

It always makes me laugh how arrogant Italians can be over "their" food - and then they basically go and plagiarise baguettes.
