Someone requested approval to add me to branded content on Instagram
What does this mean? Does it mean they link to my page? Confused. I haven't accepted as I'm apprehensive about it.
What sort of content? Did this come as a complete surprise? I sometimes get ads where I'm tagged in - is that similar?

I don't know what sort of content. She just a model posting selfies and vids. I hardly use the site just have a few selfies up, it's weird.
I would suggest you don't accept, and maybe contact them to ask why (but be careful here)...
