Maintenance loan

So my maintenance loan is about 6 thousand and so is my accommodation and I’m doing it it in three instalments. Is that a good thing? I’m getting worried because I also need to buy food and stuff for my accommodation and how long should the maintenance loan last and when will I get another maintenance loan?

You get a Maintenance Loan each year you apply for funding, it's 3 payments per year and you'll get one at the start of each term.

What does mean tested mean? I’m 20 years old

Did you include your parents information on your application so we could request their income information to make you eligible for the higher rate?
