A level predicted score

My A level predicted score is BBC(Chemistry, Biology, Psychology). How to improve my scores? Will I able to pursue my ambition of Medicine or Dentistry? Should I give up on my dream? Is it mandatory for me to take a gap year? Should I prepare for UCAT now or concentrate on A level marks?
It is probably mandatory for you to take a gap year if you want to go in medicine now

Probably don’t get into drugs lol calm down it’s not that deep. You’ll improve your grades just show your teachers that your capable to doing well and they might predict you higher. If not then obviously take a gap year.

If your considering drugs just because your predicted BBC, is medicine really a good career path for you? . But yes I think you will most likely have to take a gap year if your school does not let you resit mocks. Prepare for UCAT anyway. But it’s really not that deep, study for a levels and get As, then do UCAT and apply next year! Your life is not going to end just because of a gap year there are thousands of ppl in your position rn.

Bro what the hell is the last sentence😭😭?? I was predicted BBC by the end of y12 but I still took the UCAT, and got my predicted up to AAA and have had two interviews for med!!

Also, a lot of medical schools prioritise UCAT score and other statistics over PREDICTED grades so in theory you can still apply with predicted AAB a levels

I’m in a similar position to you. Revise for your UCAT to get the best score you possibly can. Go back and resit mocks and ask your teachers to look at your situation ( if you have an amazing UCAT score it will really help). Only downside to this is its really really hard work so if you feel like you won’t be able to do your Best then take the gap year.

last year towards the end of year 12 i was also predicted BBC (got CDD in mocks) but then in September I turned it to A*AA. I was also a med applicant, however my UCAT as core was pretty low as I had to focus on my A levels but if I grinded for it more I would have gotten higher. Just don’t give up

Some unis dont use predicted grades focus on getting a high ucat than map out eligible unis while also demonstrating you can get the grades need so your predicteds can go up
