Extenuating circumstances

I'm about to move onto year 13, for some reason my college didn't give my exam access arrangements as well as in class which heavily impacted my AS as I am now predicted BBC. I have now received those exams and class-room arrangements, will I be able to apply for extenuating circumstances? I also have a referral from my doctor that they will diagnose me for ADHD and other learning disabilities as they believe I have those.

Did your college approve the exam arrangement prior to your year 12 exams? If they did not then you cannot apply for special consideration as you should have sorted this in advance. What arrangements do you know have/are they effective enough? If so maybe it could be possible for you to resit and have your predicted grades updated. Have they been sent to UCAS? Might be worth getting new predicted grades and emailing some unis if this is what you’re worried about to explain and see what they say. Happy to try to answer any questions you may have and I hope this helps. Have a great day

Well I told them about it in the interview and that I was entitled to them, I moved colleges and my previous one had them. I have 25% extra time and a word processor for exams and lessons, yes they are very I could barely write essays before which is why I’m surprised I got BBC (C in history despite leaving half of the examination blank) sure will but even my college acknowledges the impact it has had on me and apologised.

Thanks for answering man I hope you have a great day/night.

Your school could actually get in trouble for that even if they were internal exams. AS are external which makes it even worse and JCQ (the head of exam boards basically) could talk with your school about this as it is technically malpractice by not giving you access arrangements if your previous school gave them to you. This means you may be able to appeal your predicted grades and get better grades that you actually deserve and reflect what you can achieve. As someone who has also recently recieved a bad grade because of not having access arrangements in time I know how horrible it is sitting exams whilst really struggling.
