I'm applying to vet med not med but I'm also writing my personal statement right now and from all the info I've read one of the most important parts is transferable skills. Discuss skills necessary for med and reflect on your experiences and how you've shown that you have those skills. This could be communication, teamwork, empathy and more. Show that you know what is involved in the med profession and that you are capable of it.
Also starting with body paragraphs might be easier than starting with your intro, building your intro and conclusion around your body might help give your PS more flow.
hope this helps

what experiences have you done? volunteering, seminars/webinars, i would suggest putting all of this sort of stuff in there. Write about stuff you've read, and how this relates to your preferred course. You need to show how interested you are in the course and why you are better than other applicants.
