Paranoia seems to it be getting worse

Hi guys I feel like it seems like everyone is out to get me or people don’t like me I don’t really care that much if people don’t like me. It’s more the fact my brain is overthinking everything and it’s like people are out get me .

I know this sounds odd but I just can’t seem to stop I know there is therapy out there but it takes a while as your on a waiting list which could take days weeks or months and just can’t really afford to pay for one.

How do I ignore this do I simply tell me my brain I’m overthinking this it’s in my head am i over thinking things. I think I need to stop doing weed or edibles as my anxiety is bad enough as it is I thought weed or edibles may help me calm down but I don’t know.

And the thought that people think im gay which I’m not just makes me more paranoid

def recommend finding some sort of doctor, if you go to ur insurance website there should be a list of different doctors that take your insurance! if anything gets worse go to your primary and just express how you’re feeling, usually they will prescribe something until you find a psychiatrist. Another thing is please please please consider taking a break from weed. You don’t have to quit forever, but sometimes long term use of weed can cause paranoia.

If you ring your gp as soon as it opens you can get an appointment usually same day or ask for an emergency appointment for medication. It does take min 2 weeks for anything to kick in so try to cope in different ways that aren’t dr*gs because ik how it is as I have anxiety too ,ppl w mental health issues it’ll only suppress feelings instead of actually deal with them. Try things like writing , because you can rant absolutely everything to a piece of paper instead or someone that you may not be able to talk to about everything to. About the situation of ppl thinking you’re gay, only you know yourself and know that it’s not true, if they don’t want to ask you if it’s true and find it easier to talk behind your back they’re just cowards. Being gay isn’t a bad thing, so just reassure that and keep the right friends around you

yeah, I will try and cut out of weed for sure maybe not completely but just like once a week or something, and cut out edibles as I do both at the same time may not be a good thing but that's me. Maybe it is time to stop thinking about getting a girlfriend all the time and these thoughts and problems are just in my head.

I get people talking gossip all the time and making other people worried that just life in general. I just like these negative thoughts to stop but it just keeps on coming back. And can't help but overthink about it

Yea just take your time yk whatever helps you get through it! Just try not to do in excess if you want some just have as much as you need not want. After something distressing for me I figured out it made me more paranoid but that’s just me :smile: Try to do things that you enjoy and go for walks but also remember to leave time to relax and feel whatever you want to feel as it’s normal to worry . But limit your time and after that get up and go again.
