Funding for MSc Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-reg) with a BA and MA already

Hello,

I'm thinking about doing a MSc Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-registration) in 2025 but am slightly unsure as to whether I would or could receive funding. Can anyone please help?

I already have a BA and an MA and finished my studies in 2019. Can I still receive funding for an MSc Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-registration) course despite my previous studies?

Hi there,

Do you have a particular university in mind that offers this course? If so, please tell us here and we'll check this.

Thanks, Graeme

Hello,

At the moment I'm looking at MMU or University of Essex.

Thanks!

Thanks, yes - this course is an exception, which means you'll be entitled to funding regardless of your previous study, so long as you're not already to practice Speech and Language Therapy.

Just to let you know, Postgraduate Healthcare courses attract undergraduate funding. So, you can apply for the Tuition Fee and Maintenance Loans, plus supplementary grants if applicable.

Thanks, Graeme
