What course?
Cambridge has very limited seats for International students so be wary of that.
Imperial generally has many international students so applying to Imperial may be a good choice.

Imperial will be a safer option then. Engineering at Cambridge is usually has more applicants than medicine

Mentioning it on your personal statement won’t really give you an advantage. Imperial will be more interested in your current grades and stats, so if you have current high grades that’s all that matters.
