transferring unis after resits???

i went to kent university for marketing as a first year during 2023. my run started off alright, but i gradually began to realise i was very unhappy there due to reasons i won't get into. i missed a few online tests and ended up passing 5/8 of my modules because of incomplete coursework even if i technically passed the exams. i'm currently resitting the remaining three (1 coursework, two exams) this summer and am looking to transfer to nottingham trent uni instead. i have no idea whether or not ill be able to start 2nd year regardless of if i pass or not because of how late it is. i won't be able to take the toll of retaking.

needless to say, im feeling trapped. ntu gave me an offer but request a transcript of my course for compatibility's sake. accommodation would be difficult to find, never mind if im even going to have my place secured.

im planning to call them tomorrow to see if they will still take me depending on if i pass or not. is there hope left?

my resits results date is the 5th of september, btw. im VERY wary of how this will pan out given how 2nd year starts 23rd.

Are you willing to restart from 1st year if you don’t get the results?
Depending on NTUs policies they might be able to make you UF on UCAS now for year 1 entry so that you can start sorting accommodation and everything. Then when your results come through in September they can review whether they can switch you to 2nd year.
