I have been diagnosed with the above can I claim any financial support to aid me whilst studying?

Yes! I've been diagnosed with ADHD and Epilepsy, both neurological disorders which affect my memory because of meds and just the disorders themselves. When you're apply for student finance, you can look at the DSA (the disabled students allowance) which helps pay for any tools you may need to help you with your studies. Whether that's a mentor to help you get on with your work, if you're struggling to find motivation, or what I'm hoping to get, a recording software that will really help me with my studies, because of my ADHD which causes lack of focus in lectures and my horrible memory. There's no harm in trying, and it's pretty easy to do, I don't remember exactly how but when you apply for student finance, it's easy to find!
