moving out for uni as a med student

i want to move out for uni because i want to experience independence and actually be able to live by myself (i don’t want to be like 21 and asking my parents if i can go out with my friends 😭😭) but i know my parents would struggle to support me financially if i do move out. Getting a job is the obvious solution but i just wanted to ask how difficult is it to pay for rent, bills, food and other expenses and if your doing a rigorous and time consuming course like medicine?

I’m a vet med student and I didn’t have a job this year. My med student friend says she doesn’t have any placements during summer until 3rd year, so I guess technically you could get a full time job throughout the summer of Year13-Year 2?

Won't you be getting a SFE loan?

Are you living here in London? 😧 If so, the student loan is considerably much more to cover living costs.
