Visa Implications for new course

I'm an international student who came to the University of Birmingham two years ago to study Computer Science due to parental pressure. Unfortunately, I had a very challenging experience. Living alone, I struggled to survive and faced several hardships, including contracting chickenpox and COVID, being involved in an accident, experiencing bullying, and dealing with terrible anxiety and damaging relationships.

Despite repeating my first year twice during the resit period, I failed to pass the course and was advised to withdraw. Surprisingly, this news brought me relief as I realized Computer Science wasn't my passion and I was unhappy with my life.

Determined to start fresh, I reapplied through UCAS and was successfully accepted into the Law with Business program at the University of Birmingham. While I am excited about this new beginning, I am unsure about the requirements for my student visa. Do I need to apply for a new student route visa, or can I continue using my current visa with the university?

Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
