Veterinary medicine for graduates

Hello! I am currently a second year applied medical science student in the UK. I am not entirely sure what I want to do after graduating, but I have some aspirations in doing veterinary medicine. Is there a possible graduate course for biology students to go to veterinary medicine, is the only method through undergraduate courses? Thanks!

There is no specific graduate route for Veterinary Medicine, I'm afraid. You'd have to do the whole undergraduate degree, starting from first year.

If you don't have a passion for Vet Med and merely "have some aspirations", then this might not be the right option for you anyway. To start again from scratch, you need to know for sure that it's the right path for you, I'd have thought.

There is an accelerated course at most unis which is 4 years instead of 5, which you might qualify for? I would suggest looking up online or ringing the universities you’d be interested in to ask if your degree would qualify for it.
