Break up

I'll try to make this super quick.

Haven't been talking to my girlfriend much recently. Not my choice she just hasn't been responding to many of my texts or calls. I saw her yesterday for a date we had planned and she broke up with me. The break up I could handle but I asked her about the date on one of the few calls we had and she confirmed all this stuff I had planned. So I thought all is good so I paid for everything, the date planning probably totalled over £100.00 which is fine because I like doing nice things with her but she turned up to the date and broke up with me on the spot saying she thinks I'm boring and she's found someone who makes her feel excited. I was absolutely livid because she let me plan all this stuff and pay for it without ever intending to be there. How do I get my money back?

How long were you going out for? Depending on the answer (well, I’m almost certain this will be the case), you’ll have to take this one on the chin.

This is the reason why when on the first few dates, I go to an all you can eat place so I don’t get stung too hard in my wallet…

Tbh, I wouldn’t bother, take it on the chin and cut your losses unless you think she’s the type to be fair and simply ask for the money back from what you spent (doubt it will work).
