Chance at LSE/Oxford

Recently I have been looking at people who have been accepted to LSE/Oxford and all they get are As and A*s at GCSE, nothing less. I am in Year 11 and I really want to go LSE or oxford not just because it is a good university but because I genuinely think I would enjoy it there. Although I don't have my results yet I'm really paranoid if I have good enough results.

If worst comes to worst i think ill get
2 9s
2 8s
2 7s
6 6s
1 5

Best:
6 9s
1 8
4 7s
2 6s

Do you think if I get A*s and do lots of super curriculars with a good personal statement I'll have a chance at LSE/Oxford?
Oxford consider your GCSE grades contextually but have no specific requirements- it’s more for making your application more competitive against others in selection from what I can tell.
LSE require a majority of your grades to be 7 or above so your worst case scenario would just miss this, you’ll probably have done better than you think though!
So for Oxford as other factors are also considered and there aren’t as strict requirements they might be more lenient with lower GCSE grades (especially if your school or area have lower grades generally) but LSE require more than half at a 7 or above.
Hope this helps, you’ll have done amazing! Fingers crossed for results day its so annoying having to wait so long, I know Im stressing about uni too but it’ll be such a relief once we’ve got our results
