Dental Nursing Progression

Hi everyone, I've just gotten a dental nursing apprenticeship (whoop whoop) and am aiming to become a dental hygienist after completing the level 3 course. How would I pursue this, i.e. would I need to go to Uni or would my clinic help me, etc?
