When to apply for university when I know I have to take a gap year?
I am currently studying my A levels in the uk, I’m a British citizen, but lived abroad for many years. Due to this I have to be in the uk for 3 years before I can receive funding. I know I will have to take a gap year , but I’m confused as to when is best to apply for universities
Should I apply next year after finishing my A levels and defer 1 year
Or
Should I wait and apply during my gap year so I don’t have to defer.
The same with UCAT, when should I apply?
I’m looking at going into medical, so I’m aware defers are not accepted.
