What bag for sixth form?

Starting sixth form in September with Art English and Psych, and majority of people who I ask about a sixth form bag have different opinions.
What would be the best bag to bring to sixth form, considering the pros and cons of each?

I have always used a rucksack, the best one I've had is a Timberland one, which I got for about £30 on sale. It is pretty easy to fit things into. Handbags and tote bags have never appealed because they never seem to have enough space in them, especially if you have a packed lunch. Sports bags to me seem quite impractical as well.

Im also starting sixth in September and bought a bag with this in mind. I chose one with a padded space for a laptop or iPad; good reviews for being high quality and durable; separate pouches to help with organising materials. As you’re doing art you might want a separate space or even a separate bag for that to keep your materials and sketchbook part from your other things as art stuff can be messy and heavy to lug around. I had a different bag to bring my art stuff in to school for GCSE art.

My sixth form has lockers so if yours also does this you could always keep art stuff and maybe som textbooks in there if you didn’t want to keep all your stuff in your bag. Obviously you’ll still have to take art stuff home though to do assignments but its worth asking at the start of term if they dont tell you whether there’s somewhere you can store your stuff in school.
