Steering control

I’m on my like 6th lesson driving an automatic car and everything is going well except steering control when turning right and left at junctions or in general.

I never know how much to steer, when to steer, when to straighten etc. I always end up going into the other lane or my instructor having to steer me back.

I also don’t know what I’m supposed to do with the pedals when I approach a junction, should I be slightly pressing the accelerator whilst steering round the bend or do I just lift my foot of the brake and let the car roll forward whilst steering ( but in that case the car is SO SLOW).

Steering control comes you'll get better at it.

Steering around a bend your foot should be hanging near the brake and let it roll forward.

If you're not aware of what to do with the pedals when approaching junctions, then I can't say much for the quality of your training, other than it sounds like you need a change of driving instructor.
