Should i apply for dentistry?

Hi,
i am a student in yr12 wanting to apply for dentistry in the coming september at manchester, leeds, newcatle, liverpool and bristol. However i am unsure as to whether i should apply as i know dentistry is highly competitive.

Academics wise, my GCSE grades are 9988888766 with the 6s in both english's and the 7 in RE. My predicted grades for A-Levels are A*AA with an epq dentistry related however i've not got my mark or grade back.

I am also eligible for contextualised offers for unis.Is this grade profile strong enough to be considered as a dental school applicant?

do something you are passionate about
maybe ask advice from the school careers team if you have one too

thanks alot for the advice. Because its the summer holidays i dont think my school will be able to help me until september which is too close to the deadline for early entry.

Hi, I also want to take Dentistry in Uni next year(I’m currently entering year 13) but my GCSE grades are not as high with 2 6’s and 1 7 but my A level predictions are high so I don’t know if I should still apply for dentistry or look for a different course. Also I have already booked UCAS(I don’t know any other courses to do apart from dentistry that I will definitely have a job after doing the course). Please advice? Thank you
