Literature at University of York

Hi all! I will be studying literature at UoY in September and was wondering if anyone here was too? It would be great to have some friends within my course before starting just to get a little head start in terms of socialising. I will be renting privately so I won’t be on campus accommodation so finding people of similarity might be a little tough ://

Hi, if you're looking to meet some English students when you get here we have LitSoc (Literature Society), student newspapers (York Vision) and magazines, Inklings (Creative Writing soc), Jane Austen soc, Tipsygate Readers, and Shakespeare Soc who put on their own plays each term, just to name a few! Each society will run on campus and off campus events throughout the year and you get to meet people on the course from different years and people who do different courses but love reading.
