Transferring to a different university in the U.K

So… i’m an international student in the U.K, i did the Kaplan international foundation year, got 67% in a STEM prep year, now i’m at SOAS Bsc of Finance & Accounting (Changed major from Mech Engineering). SOAS is a good school but quite niche, particularly in humanities, arts and liberal studies, not really in business and finance (do correct me if i am wrong), i was wondering whether i can transfer to a London based University such as Kings, City, UCL or Queen Mary as a second year student or not?

Unlikely at KCL or UCL because these courses are very competitive but QMUL is less so. However, it relies on there being spaces in the 2nd year cohort and that other Uni accepting your Foundation course and your first year units/grades. You can email them with all of this information and ask, but be prepared for No.

Alright, let’s say i got a no from all of these universities, would you suggest that a Finance degree from SOAS would hold value in the job market today in your opinion?

Thank you.
