Hi there,

We have an AU (Athletic Union) dance club at Loughborough. Take a look at our dance website for details on styles, showcases and competitions. Loughborough dance also hold their own competition which is the largest inter-university dance competition in the UK, around 20+ universities attend and dancing professionals are brought in to judge.

There is a contact on that page also where you can ask any specific questions you may have about dance at Loughborough.

Ah okay thank you so much. Is it different from the societies that will have stalls on freshers week? How is it that you join athletics union clubs

Hi there,

No problem 🙂

So at Loughborough dance is in AU so it is under sports rather then being a society.
There is a 'Sports Bazaar and a 'Freshers Bazaar' held during freshers week so you can see different sports and societies you are able to join at Loughborough.

However, for AU you are likely to have to have to trial during freshers week so I would recommend keeping an eye out on the dance website I shared above or finding their page on Instagram where sign up sheets and details will be shared.
