As enticing as it sounds, don't try to lose weight quickly. You've a higher rate of failure, and even if you are successful you are more likely to put the weight right back on again after because you've not developed the right lifestyle changes required to be successful in keeping the weight off long-term.
A healthy weight loss rate is 1-2lbs a week. You can achieve this by moving more and making healthier dietary choices. Don't skip meals - instead be smart about them. e.g. smaller portions or swapping out sides for healthier alternatives. Likewise, swap out unhealthy snacks for healthy ones, but that doesn't mean completely deny yourself unhealthy things either. They're perfectly okay in moderation. For example, I'm going through a phase where I constantly crave Taco Bell. Instead of denying myself, I'll occasionally let myself buy something from the lower calorie options on the menu (e.g. x2 beef taco supremes), but I'll skip the fries and fizzy drink because I wasn't actually craving them and that's just extra fat/calories that I don't really want or need. It satisfies the fast food craving without needing to write the day off as a "cheat day" - I just balance out the rest of my meals for that day by making sure my other meals are low in fat.
On that note, drinks and sauces are often what people forget to take into account when they try to lose weight. So make sure you're swapping these for low sugar/fat options too.
You also want to make sure you're still getting enough carbohydrates, healthy fats, and protein in your diet.
