Non-guaranteed accommodation and best residences

Hi, I am an offer holder at Bristol for the academic year starting Sept 2024, Bristol is my insurance choice and I have missed the deadline to apply for guaranteed accommodation.
Non- guaranteed application open on results day, in case I dont get a place and if anyone is in the same scenario please contact me to share a flat outside, also suggest a good residence hall if I do get in.

Oh sorry about you firm choice, but may I know what are your next steps and if at all you dont find any university residences, what is the best options, As i am in the same boat

tbh i was gonna ask the same from you. im kind of just hoping on results day that there will be an accomodation as it is 4 hours from where i live so i cant commute. I think if there are no accomodations then I’d have to rent a place but obviously I dont know anyone yet so maybe youd wanna rent with me as well ? maybe we can post and find another person or 2 to make it all cheaper too

Have any of you looked at private accommodation?
Disclaimer: have NOT applied to Bristol.
I know that the halls experience is apparently not to be missed for Freshers but sometimes it's cheaper.
(My experience: Coventry is my insurance but have no accommodation. The halls is £180 a week's but private is £120, closer and has more stuff, both for ensuite).

I have a double room and desk in a 4 bed flat 20mins from Uni. I’m moving to another Uni so looking for a tenancy transfer Sep to July. You would be sharing with x3 2nd year students. 210 a week bills included.
