this guy who likes me removed me from his insta story?
in summary, i went abroad and my family met this other family in the resort we were in. we were from the same culture so we got a long really well
i had noticed since the first day that this cute guy kept looking at me and whenever i made eye contact with him he’d turn his head rapidly. he looked older than me as he was taller than me and had a mustache and goatee combo going on.
a few days later, he spoke to me and i began to really like him. he was sweet and respectful and polite. he then told me he was a year younger than me (i had just finished year 13 and he’d just finished year 12) which did then make me feel a bit weird talking to a guy younger than me.
he bought me a drink and that caused a massive commotion in my family as i drank this drink - i know i shouldn’t have - and they could tell he was being over friendly with me so my parents kind of separated the two of us. i still noticed him constantly looking at me as the resort was small, in the swimming pool , in the buffet etc.
i got along with his mom well and she told me that i should stay in contact with him and exchange numbers. i never did this as i got a bit nervous
on the last day, we were all saying good bye to each other and he was shaking everyone’s hand and giving them a one arm hug. it got awkward between us at first and i put my hand out for a handshake but he pulled me in for a big two armed proper hug infront of everyone.
once i got home (2 days ago), i really regretted not getting his number, though my dad did have his dads number.
after a lot of stalking i found his instagram account and it took a lot of courage for me to request him.
his account was a bit strange as he had around 2000 followers, yet he only followed like 200 people.
he accepted my request and followed me back.
he also had some highlights - which are basically some previous pictures he posted on his story in a little album. he only had one picture of himself in there, the rest were just landscape pictures and pictures of his car and some pictures of the resort we went to
i then looked as his highlights this morning to find out that they aren’t there and i’ve been removed from them. i’ve been removed from seeing his story. why could this be?
i haven’t been texting him or anything i just went to request him that’s all
