aberystwyth uni

I went to an open day at aber uni and I was to study eng lit, the person i spoke to basically said that all of the courses were online and I was wondering if anyone who studied eng lit at Aberystwyth would be able to confirm this? idk the thought of it all being online puts me off

yeah the man who told me was with the people in the english department, but I just wanted to see whether this was actually the case or if it affects peoples opinions toward the uni or degree

hi! as someone currently at aberystwyth the english course is unfortunately all online ☹️ i’m pretty sure it’s their 2020 material but i know a few people who’ve transferred or swapped courses because of this x

I spoke to one of the lecturers after getting in last week to study this course. She explained to me that the lectures are online as the students prefer them that way (it gives them a chance to pause them to take notes etc) but the seminars which are more of the normal classroom style teaching are fully in person
