I have an interview at Sainsbury’s for an online assistant position Any tips please?
You'll know nobody can give you exact questions etc for your interview due to cairn for anyone else who is also applying.
Online shop assistant is just basically you going round the store collecting multiple customers orders at the same time, it's done by handheld technology and even that the customers ordered is generally in order whereabouts in the store shelves they are and you just follow the handheld device list. Don't know if Sainsbury's other customers altered items if something they ordered is not available so that you will pick something else so maybe ask them.
You'll be probably asked why you applied for the job What if any previous experience have you got working in a supermarket environment ( not necessarily required as training will be provided). Have you got knowledge of using handheld technology... Are you flexible about the hours and days that you might be offered if you were offered a job ( say yes but if you unable to work certain days tell them that okay) - they usually ask just incase they have filled the original post position ( the times you seen on job description when you applied) so they can then offer a alternative shift pattern.
Try not to be nervous
You'll hopefully be given a opportunity to ask them questions at the end of the interview so have a few to ask them okay.
Not worked with Sainsbury's. I work as a team leader and stand in supervisor as required with Tesco. Can't offer much more okay
