funding for masters

im currently about to go into my third year studying philosophy at uni of nottingham and am considering staying on to do a masters. i still need to speak to some people about it though as i dont fully understand how to get onto a masters course but the main thing worrying me is finances. i was under the impression sfe can cover your tuition for a masters but a friend told me thats not the case? does sfe offer any tuition/maintenance loans for postgrad?
The Postgraduate Masters Loan is a set amount for all students (~£12k) that’s paid to the student. You then budget/decide how much to put towards fees and how much towards living expenses. Masters fees are unregulated and will vary between ~£5k to ~£30k at different universities.

Hi kilulen,

The Postgraduate Loan is not specifically for the Tuition Fees however, as it is paid directly to you to use however you wish. Please note the payment dates are in line with your terms and cannot be changed to accommodate your Tuition Fee payment dates you agree with the university. I have provided a useful link for you in relation to the Postgraduate Loan.
