MMU Cas taking a long time

Hello,
I applied for Manchester Metropolitan University CAS through the link on July 4th, and it has been quite some time since then but I haven't heard back from them yet.
Any idea why is it taking so long?
Most of the Universities take about a week to process CAS.
I have tried mailing them too but haven't gotten a reply.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that you're still waiting to receive your CAS - unfortunately there's been a couple of issues that have led to the delay in issuing them to applicants. Please feel free to call the team on 0161 247 1252.

Hi,Do you always need a CAS? I am actually on adependent visa and I think CAS is for student visa.I recently got admission there and when I went tocollect my ID card they said there is an issue withmy right to study and I have not applied for CAStherefore I could not enroll?Don’t know what to do now as I have already paidmy student deposit

I would contact the immigration team at MMU, contact details here:

There is guidance on that page that you should be okay on a dependant’s visa however.

A lady in the help desk said that I would be okay and I would get an email with a link for further instructions within 24 hours. However I haven’t gotten it yet. Was that just to make me feel calm though?
