How is IAL decision maths 1? Should I take it for CS?

I've done some research, and from answers from quora and thestudentroom, some people are saying that for IAL d1 the concept is easy to learn, but it helps nothing in my problem solving skills. On the other hand, since the concept is easy, the grade boundary is also very high. Also, the order of answer questions matters, and tiny mistakes can cost me a lot of marks, which makes me quite afraid of studying and taking it instead of other module choices. Considering I'm taking CS and aiming to go for top colleges like UCL and Edinburgh, is taking decision maths 1 recommended in terms of the exam grades I will be getting, and will it lead to me having a disadvantage when applying for these colleges if I take other modules like M1 instead of D1?
