LSE Graduate Support Scheme Extenuating Circumstances

Does anyone have experience/know of somebody with the experience of re-applying for the Graduate Support Scheme after it is closed because of extenuating circumstances?

What kind of extenuating circumstances is allowed/isn't.

My Ukrainian friend tried. She missed the deadline because there was no connection in her city after rocket attacks. They rejected her. So chances are close to 0. But give it a try

*It's not that LSE is morally poor, no.

Their policy regarding deadlines is strict. It's either you apply much in advance or be ready to hear 'no'.

Thanks for your insight! I completed the form in time, but my financial circumstances changed so I wanted to ask specifically about re-applying when circumstances change. The website says its allowed for extenuating circumstances but I'm not sure what LSE defines extenuating circumstances as🥲. And you know the financial team takes a lil while to reply😅

Oh ok! I contacted the financial team myself about the changes in my circumstances. They replied in 2 days:smile:

They said, «Thank you for information. Here’s the list of non-LSE scholarships you may find useful».
(None of them met my needs)

Omg! Im so sorry, that's so upsetting. Especially since without funding, so many bright people can't actually afford LSE

Absolutely! That is very sad. Yet, if one door closes, another one opens.

Does LSE inform people who are unsuccessful in their application? Have anyone receive any mail with negative news? or only successful applicants are informed?

Hey! I had re-applied for the GSS as I had received some funding from another source. They didn’t consider my application again.

Sorry, what do you mean by "They didn’t consider my application again", they did not accept it or it was unsuccessful?
