I have to chose a prose and a play to compare for my coursework. I have chosen 'A Streetcar Named Desire' as my play but wanted recommendations/suggestions for a prose text to compare it to. Thank you

I don't know if there's a specific theme you want to compare but you could compare it with The Great Gatsby. For one, the theme of love and relationships is very prevalent in both.
