Hiya! Anyone applying this fall? Would love to share with other candidates, find out how everyone is feeling about applications, portfolio, PS etc #oxford #ruskin
Heyy, I’m also applying for the Ruskin! I’m feeling alright about my personal statement, but very unsure about about what to include in the portfolio or if my work is good enough, especially since there are so few examples online or guidance

Hi there, me too! I am kinda nervous whether I can get an interview invitation.

Me too! Was wondering if anyone know when the emails/interview invites are likely going to be sent out?
i’ve been wondering… afew have been sent out for other subjects like music, which is scary. i think art would be fairly late in comparison because we’ve obviously only just had the portfolio deadline
I sent my portfolio in but probably don’t have as much work as I should because of a combination of other coursework and mental health issues. Did anyone not use all of their options?

do you mean not fill it to the 20 works maximum? i wouldn’t worry if you haven’t as it was a maximum, also i don’t think they would discredit you for having less if the work you did submit is to their standard, don’t stress about it as im sure even if your mental health issues aren’t mentioned in special consideration oxford will recognise that for whatever reason some people will have more opportunity to spend time and resources on art, and that doesn’t necessarily make them a better artist… i’m sure it’s all considered and they’ll judge you on the work that’s there rather than what’s missing
